power-up with Reading Rainbow

Oh, hi there. You look a little different. I suppose I haven't seen you in quite some time. I hope you're doing well. Thanks to the joy of a state-mandated lockdown/quarantine due to COVID-19, I've actually managed to get myself to update this here blog. I have tried a few times during the past few years, but kept failing for some reason or another (translation: I struggled to find enough motivation to fix the theme and do pictures). Yep. Anyway, it's here, you're here, I'm here... so, let's see how long I can stay with it.

A few years ago there was a Kickstarter campaign to raise support for a reimagined reboot of Reading Rainbow. Everything was to be Web-based this time around and, the best part: LeVar Burton was onboard! Yeah! I backed the campaign in order to get a t-shirt and this is what I picked out of a few options. I know they did get the reboot going, but I'm not really sure how long it lasted (or if it's still active).
